Friends:

This weekend, something amazing happened: We used the national TV airwaves to expose corporate media for raking in fossil fuel money and then downplaying the climate crisis.

Watch this MSNBC video clip that’s gone viral. It followed my previous appearance on CNN in which I spotlighted how the media’s Big Oil and Big Pharma sponsors are gutting climate and health care legislation.

To be honest, I’m surprised they didn’t cut my microphone, and I know that speaking out like this risks never being invited back on. But I don’t care. These emergencies are so huge that we have to use every opportunity we can to call out the villains.

That’s what we do at The Daily Poster every single day in our reporting — you can see that most recently here, here, and here.

We can only do this work because of you, our subscribers. So I want to thank you for being part of our team.

I also want to ask for your additional help. There are three things you can do to help us hire more reporters to expand our reporting:

1. Forward this email and ask your friends to go to www.dailyposter.com/subscribe and become a subscriber.

2. Click here to give a gift subscription.

3. Click here to pitch in to our tip jar, which directly funds our open records requests and our deep-dive investigative reporting.

We are working as hard as we can to finally build a better media that holds politicians and corporate malefactors accountable — and our work is having a big impact.

Thank you again for being part of our team. Your solidarity and support is what makes this work possible.

Rock the boat,

Sirota
