Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ corruption and mistreatment of migrants has made him the political embodiment of the “Florida Man” — defined by Wikipedia as a “male person performing irrational or absurd actions in the state of Florida.” But here’s the good news: DeSantis’ behavior has now jeopardized his reelection.

On our new episode of the Lever Time podcast, we talk to former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, the Democrat now running against DeSantis and just a few points behind in the polls (35:24).

We also talk to New York Times’ global economics correspondent Peter S. Goodman and Labor Notes reporter Jonah Furman about the potential railroad strike (7:03).
