⛽ The GOP really wants Big Oil to bribe them. Republicans slipped a provision into the budget reconciliation bill this week that would create a legalized system of bribery where oil and gas giants can write a check to federal officials in exchange for favorable regulatory treatment. Those bribes could even presumably be paid in Trump’s official meme coin as an additional way to curry favor with the administration, according to an exchange during a markup meeting this week.
