A collection of major pension funds — which together hold about $950 billion in Americans’ retirement assets, including in Tesla stock — are asking Elon Musk to show up to work. They want Musk to dedicate his time to his electric vehicle company for at least 40 hours a week, noting the current “crisis” requires Musk’s “full-time attention.” Tesla is dealing with dwindling sales and a public relations windstorm brought on by Musk’s unpopular stint in Washington, driving the company’s stock prices down 17 percent from their peak last December.
